Tyres need changing
Legally, tyres have to be replaced when the tread is reduced to 1.6 mm. In the interest of a maximum of safety however, we recommend to change winter tyres as soon as tread profile depth is down to 3 mm, and 2 mm for summer tyres or otherwise as soon as the tyre is more than 6 years old.

Make an appointment online
Make an appointment with one of our preferred suppliers with the "Preferred Dealer Contact" tool or contact one of our authorized tyre dealers.
On the appointment day, please fill in the work to be carried out and your contact details on the LeasePlan order form (green form in your order set) and hand this form to the person who is to do the work - if servicing and tyres are included in your contract. The supplier must then obtain prior approval from LeasePlan.

Free services
To guarantee your mobility and insure you more flexibility, our preferred suppliers network is composed of garage owners affiliated to the manufacturer or independents. All propose you free additional services which LeasePlan negotiated for you: pick-up service, cleaning of the vehicle, replacement vehicle, priority appointments, etc.

Recommendations
LeasePlan reserves the right to defer or suspend approval when a tyre change is required for an abnormally low mileage. An assigned role of LeasePlan is to control costs and it is for this reason that the tyre budget does not cover replacement of punctured tyres and additional rims (except if notified in the Agreement). The examples given are considered to be individual requirements not common to the fleet as a whole. This principle is due to the need to promote consistency and impose common rules to ensure that the fleet is administered in the most efficient way. Only approved LeasePlan suppliers may be used.
To avoid queuing, it is advisable to call before to arrange for tyres replacement during the week (Monday to Friday).
