During the maintenance of your vehicle

During the maintenance of your vehicle, and if your contract foresees provision for a "replacement car" option, a replacement vehicle is made available at the address you specify.

You can benefit from it on the 1st day of the downtime onwards if you have a "Partner Plan" contract, or for downtimes of more than 24 hours for the other contracts.

If you require a relief vehicle of a category which differs from the category specified in your contract, please send us the approval from your company.

Finally, if this option is not included in your contract, LeasePlan can arrange this service on your request and then invoice you for the service provided.

In any case, in order to offer you the best service possible, please book your replacement car on line at least 48 hours' in advance.  We advise you to arrange this at once after having made the appointment with your garage.

In case of an accident

In case of an accident (body repair works), LeasePlan offers a replacement vehicle for free.

Indeed, LeasePlan has negotiated arrangements with their official repair shop partners in order to guarantee your mobility. This provides for you being entitled to receive free of cost a category B replacement car (Renault Clio, Citroen C3) for the entire repair period. Please note that this replacement car arrangement is not related to the provision mentioned in your leasing contract.

However, you have the possibility to upgrade to a superior category vehicle (price list on demand). In that case, we need your written and signed confirmation by the online document „Demand for a superior category RV“ you will address to our insurance department before you fix a date for the body repair works.

  • In case of an accident involving your responsibility, the upgrade will be invoiced to you in accordance with the applicable tariffs.
  • In case of damage settlement by a third party ( you are not responsible in this accident), the upgrading costs can be billed to the third party insurance, depending on the duration of the repair works as estimated by an expert. Eventual additional costs will be at your charge.

We dearly advise you to check in the repair shop on the estimated repair duration and thus spare you additional costs. LeasePlan can in no way be hold responsible for possible delays of the repair time.
