Breakdown assistance
When you took delivery of your car, you received a breakdown assistance card, if this service was included in the contract. This card guarantees you free assistance if you break down, or suffer an accident, fire, vandalism, theft in Luxembourg and abroad (all countries listed on the green card), just call +352 40.71.40
In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
- Road Assistance service ensures assistance within an hour of your call being logged.
- Breakdown on a public highway - Assistance in the event of fire, accident or vandalism, Road Assistance Service will provide you with an on-site breakdown service and assistance by a skilled engineer. If the vehicle cannot be made roadworthy on the spot, both the vehicle and occupants will be taken to the nearest dealer.
- Relief vehicles: if a vehicle can not be repaired, a LeasePlan Category A or B relief
vehicle ( Renault, Clio type ) relief vehicle will be provided at the breakdown location,
dealer's premises or at the driver's home address. Relief vehicles are provided for a maximum
of 5 consecutive calendar days. Relief vehicle damage is subject to a deductible. Relief
vehicles are not available in the following cases :
- vehicle unavailability due to current repair work
- servicing recommended by the manufacturer
- where a vehicle can be used without any risk of aggravated damage
Abroad
Breakdown, accident, fire and vandalism
On-site assistance by a skilled engineer will be provided within an acceptable period of time in the light of local facilities and the actual site location.
- If the vehicle can be made road worthy on site or by a dealer within 3 days, Road
Assistance Service :
- will provide a breakdown service to the nearest dealer subject, however, to the charges incurred being paid by the driver which will be reimbursed on submission of supporting documentation;
- will pay up to a daily amount per person for accommodation and breakfast (3 days maximum) in respect of the driver and vehicles occupants
- If the vehicle cannot be mage road worthy, Road Assistance Service :
- will return the vehicle and vehicle occupants to their home address (by first class rail if applicable or rental vehicle)
Vehicle theft
Road Assistance Service will return the vehicle occupants to their home address (by first class rail if applicable or rental vehicle ). If the vehicle is subsequently found, travel card will ensure the repatriation of the vehicle.
