I have an accident

All accidents must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours, even if there is no damage, and even if the Police have already drawn up a report.

Each driver's folder (orange folder) contains a European collision form, which you should fill in carefully on both sides.

For accidents involving a third party

You have to fill in the European accident notification and inform our insurance department within 24 hours.  We have added a check list with your driver guide in your orange map to assist you in this duty.

When no third party is involved in the accident

And for which the European accident notification is not required, please fill in the attached accident notification form and send it to our insurance department within 24 hours.

In case of injuries or a hit-and-run by the involved party or in case the parties do not arrive to settlement, you must call for the police and ask for a written report.

Free of cost replacement vehicle (in case of body repair works)

LeasePlan has negotiated arrangements with their official repair shop partners in order to guarantee your mobility in case of accident (body repair works). This provides for you being entitled to receive free of cost a category B replacement car (Renault Clio, Citroen C3) for the entire repair period.  You have also the possibility to upgrade to a superior category vehicle with a separate invoicing.

If your vehicle is out of use

In the event of accident, theft or attempted theft as a result of which the vehicle cannot be used, call the Road assistance Service immediately (if included in the contract ) on +352 40.71.40, ask for a replacement car and you will receive instructions.

If LeasePlan is not responsible for claims management

In the event of a total write-off as a result of an accident or the theft of a vehicle for which LeasePlan does not provide claims management, this should also be reported to LeasePlan.
